Our Mission

Empower Diverse Women & Men in Health to achieve GLOBAL IMPACT

Health LeadHER is the FIRST Global Health Disparities Innovation Hub and Health Business & Career Accelerator that focuses on empowering professionals and businesses owners in the health, wellness, life sciences, and social services industries. Our goal is to help them to make greater impact on the health of their communities locally and globally. We do this through strategic education on health disparities and diseases, innovative business and contract education, community, mentorship, funding, and resources.

Women Empowerment & Health Disparities As Our Core Pillar

Women comprise over 80% of the healthcare workforce, but less than 30% sit at the executive level making the decisions and policies that need to be made. This percentage drops to less than 5% for women of multicultural backgrounds. It’s time for a change in this narrative. If we are going to improve health disparities, women, and especially multicultural women, need to be offered more opportunities to lead local, and global, health solutions.

Only 4% of healthcare companies are led by women when women represent over 80% of the health industry. If we truly want to improve health disparities, this has to change!
